ATV related questions...

Are you located on the trail system?

     Yes, we are located on BOTH the Clark County and Jackson County Trail System.  We have a approximately one mile of our own trails that connect directly to the Clark/Jackson County Trail System.

What kind of ATVs do you rent?

     We rent 250s and they are NOT automatic, but very easy to learn how to shift...even for girls! Various makes and models available.

Do ATVs have to be registered to be on the trail?

     ATVs must be registered in the State where you live and you must have trail passes on your machine. UNLESS you live in the State of WI and they're registered in WI, you do NOT have to have trail passes.  Trail passes sell for $18 and are sold at the Conoco Station (Double T) in downtown Merrillan, 3 miles from here.  You can purchase them on your way here!

How old does my child have to be to ride their own machine on the trail?

     If they are under 12, they have to ride a 90cc machine or less and be accompanied by a parent.  If over 12, they must have a certificate from an ATV safety course. BUT... your child can ride their own ATV in our ATV Park as long as you supervise them at any age.

Can we ride our dirt bikes or motorcycles on the trails?

     Only if they are street legal; meaning they are licensed to be driven on the state roads and highways.  But again, you can ride them in the ATV Park.

Are helmets mandatory?

     Helmets are mandatory for all persons under the age of 18.  Wearing them though is a good idea.  We see a lot of stupid accidents from people who drive way too fast and get seriously hurt.  Head vs. tree accidents are not good!

Do you sell any ATV gear or other items?

     Yes, we sell bandanas, goggles, beverage holders, hats, can coolies, fly swatters, t-shirts, sweatshirts...For other ATV gear see ATV Dealerships in our website who offer a full line of ATV gear.

Rental Unit Questions

Do your units have linens including sheets, pillows, blankets?

   All of our units, except the camping cabins have linens.

Do your units have pots, pans, silverware, plates, glasses, etc?

   All of our units, except the camping cabins have these items.  You may want to bring along your favorite sharp knife or serving bowls. Also bring aluminum foil or plastic wrap if you think you might need it.

Do your units have a coffee maker, microwave, stove, or toaster? 

   All of our units have these items. The camping cabins do NOT have a stove.

Do you have any outdoor cooking grills?

    We have a few grills here to use that are charcoal, so bring charcoal and starter fluid.  We also have the "event grill" up at the pavilion that you can cook on.  It's a gas grill.  Just make sure to bring aluminum foil to put on the grate before you cook...unless you like scrubbing to get it clean!

Do you sell any food or beverage items?

   Yes, we now have a license to sell beer, wine, soda pop and water in the pavilion.  We also sell frozen pizza, candy bars, and various snack items.  Pizza ovens and microwave are available for use in the pavilion as well.
