"The purpose of our trip was to go 4-wheeling in the SNOW!! We don't have any at home. The temperature was 22-degrees with snow. It was BEAUTIFUL!! No wind and we had sun all day. Makes a difference when we all dressed warm. Rode to The Depot (in Merrillan), then back on the trails to Rock Dam, 90 miles. Headed for Black River Falls to ride all day.  We recommend "The Depot" - great food & great people!"

"The purpose of our trip was to go ATVing, getting away as a family & spend some good times together. We caravanned up (2 couples). The weather was cold and dry with some snow. We had a blast on the ATVs. We cooked, ate, played games and when the guys decided to go out on a long trail ride, we got to see where the hospital was--Randy took a "good spill" and broke his collar bone in 3 places! Steve and his family were really great. Steve helped out with giving us a recliner so Randy could sleep-- Sure hope we can come back again-It was a really homey place and great for families!"

On day 1 we rode a lot of miles (40+ miles); night riding & mudding. Day 2 we found more great trails, a lot of mud, great campfire just a lot of fun--50+ miles. Day 3: 80+ miles. We made it to Rock Dam for a Dam Burger ("Ernie's Rock Dam") What a ride. We lost one Polaris in 3-4' ofmud & water. Quads look bad. A lot of mud! Steve is a great guy & a great babysitter...he he!! People around here are a lot of fun & we had a great time. We rode one night up to town night-riding; was awesome! The "Corner Bar" was fun--a lot of fun!! The campfires were awesome and we met a lot of good people!"

"We rode the 1st day, but not far because we weren't dressed properly. The 2nd day we rode to "Ernie's Rock Dam" (best burgers!) & rode home. Also sat by the fire the first night and listened to Steve tell his jokes--not very many people are like Steve. He's one of the BEST! We recommend, "Tourist Haven" (in Humbird) GREAT for Friday night fish fry; the people are awesome! Also,"The Depot" for Saturday night prime rib; also great people!"
